Matrix is an amazing herdsire having produced multiple Champion winning progeny in all colours. Imported from New Zealand from the infamous Alpine Fibre's Brutus (Peruvian Hemingway) line. At 13 years old his fleece has retained its outstanding uniformity and fineness with minimal change in the last 9 years of fleece testing.

We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Yandu's first cria in 2024, and we're excited to see the offspring he produces. Yandu boasts a beautifully fine, soft, true black fleece complemented by an exceptional temperament. His accolades include being named Champion Black at the 2022 SSEAG & AOC All Ireland Fleece Show, Reserve Champion Black at the 2023 SSEAG & AOC All Ireland Fleece Show, and securing 1st place in the black adult male class at the 2023 Northern Ireland Championship.

No VAT is applied to the service fee.
All matings are closely supervised, adhering to stringent biosecurity protocols to ensure the health and safety of all alpacas involved.
Live Birth Guarantee: Should a mating not result in the birth of a live cria that survives beyond 24 hours, we will provide a complimentary return mating with the same stud. Please note, this guarantee covers the mating service only; transportation costs for off-site matings are not included. This guarantee is exclusive to the original female alpaca and the original purchaser; it is not transferable to other alpacas or owners.
Drive-By Matings: This service allows the owner to bring their female alpaca to our farm for mating and then take her home post-service. Owners are responsible for confirming pregnancy through spit-off testing. We welcome females back for a confirmation spit-off within six weeks following mating. However, we advise arranging an ultrasound scan thereafter. Drive-by matings are available from May to early September.
Mobile Matings: Offered at a charge of £2.00 per mile (round trip) from BT307NG. For mobile matings, our stud visits your farm to mate with the female. Availability for these appointments is limited; we recommend early booking. Eligible females must be in good health, of suitable weight, and appropriately sheared. We reserve the right to decline service if these conditions are not met.
Payment is required within 30 days of invoicing.
